August, 04 2005: Received the PSOne TFT (VGA) monitor today from Frans Mosmans. Will be used for the Capt. CDU. The
old 5" monitor will be placed on the F/O side. The picture on the monitor btw is Live AV input from a videocamera filming
the monitor.. :)

August, 01 2005: Started mounting new parts to new main backer. Looks promising!

July, 31 2005: Decided earlier to replace the CPFlight MCP/EFIS for the more realistic FDS Glare parts. The FDS Glare kit
was bought last year but since then switches have been replaced by new ones with built in leds and the QD series holders
for the 7 segm. leds have been released, in addition to a easy-to-use Interface module for the Glare. I decided to go for the
new FDS solution and ordered parts from the newly released stuff. Well, yesterday most of the stuff arrived, including the
Interface module. Due to the new style backers and switches the Glare main backers had to be replaced.

Guess how much Peter (FDS) charged me for those backers?

Lets just say I am once again extremely satisfied with the FDS level of personal service and overall quality!

July, 06 2005: The RMP Retro kits for the COM1/2 radios arrived and was assembled and mounted right away. And what a
beauty! The buttons with built in leds for backlighting really makes the difference.. FDS delivers again!

July, 03 2005: Fwd Overhead panel backlit. Not perfectly even, but readble in the dark though!

June, 27 2005: Working with Overhead backlighting. Using LED Strips to provide the light.

May, 15 2005: Setting up the FSBUS Router to Interface pmSystems with Switches and LEDS on the Overhead Panel.

.
May, 11 2005: All switches have been connected to the FSBUS (Key)cards.

May, 08 2005: All the announciators have been connected to the FSBUS (DO) cards.  Next all switches will be likewise
connected to the FSBUS (Key)cards. Then programming the FSBUS Router to interface pmSystems. Still lots to do on the
overhead!

April, 29 2005: Progress is slow theese days (sometimes trying to have a life too :) but here is a picture of the "Eye-candy"
from FDS mounted on the overhead. Inner holes of the switch caps from FDS are to big for the small switches but I found
a way to make them fit, using bushings made from distance pieces.

April, 16 2005: Soldering the overhead almost finished.. This has been a tedious process and my patienceindeed WAS
tested minute by minute :). Now all cables will be connected to the interface boards in the pedestal box. Another tedious
process Im sure..

April, 04 2005: Soldering the overhead.. This is a tedious process and my patience is tested minute by minute :)

March, 26 2005: Soldering has commenced! Have a feeling I will tend to hate the soldering iron when finished :) At last
those books could be used for something useful..

March, 22 2005: Other side of the Overhead Box (se below). Here the Panels have been removed and backlighting has
been mounted. Two tubes was supposed to be Amber, but later turned out to be WHITE. Will have to cover those with
Orange/Amber cellophane like the other tubes.

March, 22 2005: The FWD Overhead panel Box almost finished. The FSBUS Interface modules mounted, as well as
terminals.

March, 19 2005: Most hardware has been mounted on the Overhead panel. Knobs and switch-guards are soon on its way
from FDS. Next will be building a wooden box to house the panel and Interfacing.
